Designed by renowned architects, Kirk Studio, West End Riverside Residences is a bespoke, high-end build with custom finishes across all parts of its design. Located in the historical inner-city suburb of West End, the project occupies a 634m2 sloping, riverside block. Safety constraints surrounding the sloping site meant the project’s delivery required an innovative approach to the construction method, as well as a robust conservation management plan to preserve the site’s existing heritage structure. Emacen conceived a procedure to lift and relocate the existing heritage structure by crane while blockwork to level 1 of the new residence was carried out. The property has since been returned to site and raised into a new position while Emacen delivers the next stage of this project. Completion of the West End Riverside Residences is expected mid-2023.
