West End Riverside Residence

The Emacen team recently carried out a unique lift and relocation of a heritage property located on one of our West End riverside sites.

Designed by renowned architects, Kirk Studio, West End Riverside Residence is a bespoke, high-end build on a sloping 634m2 block. Due to safety constraints surrounding the sloping site, the project’s delivery required an innovative approach to the construction method and a robust conservation management plan to preserve this property of heritage significance.

Our project team, led by Construction Manager, David McIlwraith, came up with the solution to lift and temporarily relocate the heritage property by crane while the blockwork to level 1 of the build was carried out.

The property has since been returned and repositioned on the site while the team delivers the second stage of this project.

The delivery of West End Riverside Residence is expected mid-2023.
