The high-profile coverage on issues relating to flammable cladding meant that the Department of Housing and Public Works’ response to the issue needed to be robust. The Department engaged Emacen, through Faction Consulting, to lead a Non-Conforming Building Product Audit Taskforce investigation into and the subsequent remediation works of 148 buildings identified as requiring a detailed examination for potential non-conforming product.
